Survivalism Lab (생존주의 랩)
Survivalism Lab is a Korean war and disaster preparedness media and publishing company. We turn official civil-defense manuals, statutes, research papers and real survivor accounts into practical, verified guidance that ordinary Korean households can act on. We run as a small AI-native team, and Claude is at the core of how we build and operate.
What we do
- Ebooks. 『Korea Survivalism Bible』 (9 titles including the Survival Binder workbooks, 11 bundle options), sold on Naver SmartStore since August 2026. 300+ copies sold so far.
- survivalism.kr. A free preparedness magazine with 200+ articles, reports and field guides, a live war and crisis dashboard, a 5-minute household readiness check, a personal readiness quiz, and 8 courses, 240 lessons. Members sign in with Kakao.
- Social channels. 8 Instagram channels with daily carousels and reels. Our most-viewed posts have reached over one million views.
- Newsletter. A weekly survival newsletter (opt-in, launching now).
How we build with Claude
- Product engineering. Claude Code built and maintains this entire website (Next.js, PostgreSQL, object storage, Kakao login, admin tools, security audits and backups).
- Research and fact-checking. Claude agents check every claim against our source library: civil-defense manuals from 12 countries, 15 Korean statutes, 400+ research papers and 24,000+ indexed Korean source items.
- Publishing. Claude drafts, proofreads and typesets our ebooks, and verifies each fact before print.
- Content operations. Claude agents produce and review daily content for our Instagram channels, blog and newsletter, with separate fact, visual and copy review passes.
What's next
We are building a Claude-powered Readiness Assistant inside survivalism.kr. It will turn the 5-minute household check into a personalized preparedness plan for each home, grounded only in our verified sources and always pointing people to official government guidance first.
